Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AI Agency NZ ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit aiagency.nz or engage our services. It is written to comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Who we are

AI Agency NZ is a New Zealand business. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, you can reach us via the discovery call form.

What we collect

  • Booking information. When you book a discovery call through Cal.com we collect your name, email address, and any answers you provide to the booking form.
  • Anonymous analytics. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, page accessed). We do not use third-party cross-site tracking cookies.
  • Information you send us. If you contact us directly, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us only to respond to your enquiry, deliver the services you have asked for, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, ever.

Who handles your information

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run this site and our practice. They each have their own privacy terms, which you can read at their sites:

  • Vercel (United States) hosts the website.
  • Cal.com (United States) handles discovery call bookings.
  • Google (United States) is used for some internal tooling and email.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, get in touch via the discovery call form. We respond within 20 working days.

Storage and security

We store information only as long as we need to in order to provide our services or comply with our legal obligations. We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption in transit and access controls on stored data.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (for example, to remember your preferences during a session). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy we will update the "last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.

Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal information appropriately, please tell us first via the discovery call form so we can look into it. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
